Hallo, looking for sugestions as to a small dwarf conifer, for a small part of my garden I have as a spring garden, would like it to be true dwarf growing no more that a couple of feet, in say 10 years. I know Monty planted one last year in a eposode of Gardeners World, but I cannot for the life of me remember the name of it. If possable it would be nice if there was a blue one suitable. Any ideas out there.

Hi Davie - this link might help:

    http://www.conifersociety.org/cs/index.php

their database has a pretty comprehensive list of confiers and you can search by things like size, foliage colour etc. It's US based, but I'm sure it'll have what you need [IMG]

Thanks, Nixion, it is just what I was looking for, also I have visited the BBC Garden site before but never noticed the past program feature. So thanks again.

Don't know, DavieM - I've never ordered anything from them. I've looked in their catalogue, but I've always found what I'm after somewhere els. On the other hand - maybe that's an answer after all?? ;)
