Four horses create more than I can use. I also inherited a manure heap which is old and black.

I use straw and also an environmentally friendly hemp based bedding, which loooks like a wood chip, its called aubiose, this I am told rots quickly.

My the two different types of manure are kept seperately, which is not usually the case on most yrads farms.

I am based near Egham/Chertsey in Surrey and would exchange no more than a smile expected in return, tho some carrots or apples appreciated.

A fellow forum member suggested e.bay. Im told straw manure is hard to get hold of, most horse folk use woodchip.

Dont forget to send me a very large envelope, about 10 ftx10 ft x 5 feet high should do it.

    No takers yet....

Hi Dawn, I'd love some though just maybe not at the moment, and I doubt my needs will dent such a big pile! I work at Chertsey and live at Frimley so very local. I just have to figure out how to transport it - old compost bags I guess. Are there any allotments around you? Maybe they'd take it?
