I have a young Berberis hedge. Most of the plants were planted two years ago and four were planted this year. They have struggled but are now begining to get established due to our wet summer! The tallest plant is about 18inches. They are all starting to lose their leaves for the winter. When is the best time to prune them?

I've got a few of these as a hedge. I prune them right after they've flowered but mine are older than yours and I do it to keep them under control. If you're trying to make them bushier I woul still wait for Spring just in case any frosts get to the top tips. Good Luck
