Planting by the moon phases

    Has anyone got experience and some advice on planting veg by the moon cycles? I'm wondering whether to give it a try.

    Sorry - what's GGD? I'm interested in planting by the moon too, would like to have a look.

    GGD = General Gardening Discussion. I think the thread on moon-phase gardening is on page 3. Now, the SUN and page 3.... well, we'd best not go there, eh??? :D

    This is fascinating.
    I have to admit that due to general disorganisation, I didn't plant by the phases - but I've noticed that over this weekend a lot of the seeds I've planted over the last two or three weeks have germinated. Could be that it's been very sunny of course, or the fact that it was full moon?

    Beware of frost when its full moon specially next month so dont go putting your tender plants out yet.
