hi Pal,thanks, no they didnt bother me this time as i didnt have rosa with me, the swans were after the geese, that actual pic of the geese with its wings up the swan was going mad and coming for them from the water.
was on my way out shopping and thought i would pop in the quarry for some pics, everytime i go somthing different is happening in there.

Wonderful pics Rosa. Just the sort to look at when you get up first thing of a morning. Brighten the start of the day up beautifully they would.

Literally just up the road from me Linda. Isn't the church lovely. shame about all the new build. The estate is going to block our view of Earsdon!

Great pics. Where is the quarry?

    cheers

    Lovely photos all, Rosa.

    Especially love the GG's.

Thanks for providing a lovely window on the world. Feels like I was there with you.

How lovely to just be able to pop into that quarry and see all that bird life. Geese are just big mouthy cowards! I always just honk back at them louder and see them run then!

thank you everyone, pleased you like my pics.
borrowers your not far from me, its lovely in earsdon, plenty of horses there to take, i often drive up there, the quarry nature reserve is on the broadway, opposite the quarry pub, i live not far from there in cullercoats.i go in there a lot its lovely in the summer, it was a bit cold yesterday and when i went to earsdon it was freezing while i was taking pics, as you know its open fields very brisky weather, i still enjoyed though.
