    Looks like I may finally be able to get some detailing done to the garden this year after spending the last 12 months clearing away the jungle. Here are some pics I took last year before getting started. I'll add some of the gardens current state (weather permitting).

    Thanks for the warm welcome and words of encouragement folks.

    Paladin it's actually right in the middle of a town but thankfully its been kept out of the developers clutches. Also the boundary is made up of some very mature trees which help give it that rural look.

    youngdaisydee - No plans as such just yet, at the moment I'm just concentrating on clearing back and rescuing the lawn and also seeding a vegetable patch which had become hugely overgrown and umanageable. This should give me a reasonable lawn from which I can start to consider a layout.

    Looks good MopeyGecko plenty of room to manouver,draw a plan to scale then you can work out a design,good luck with it.

    Hi Mopeygecko and welcome to GC. Everyone told me that 'developing' my last remaining wild area with a greenhouse and decking was a huge task. But you definitely get the gold medal.
