Yes, it does have a nice outlook. House is rubbish though. Just a box on the end of a row of other boxes. Used to be a barn years ago then was converted to a house then previous owner ripped the innards out of it including taking out all the walls, ceilings and fitments on the first floor - and then of course we bought it. Brits wouldn't have it any other way!!

pete, you do come up with them! Love that first one, Lobivia, but your second one that you call Delosperma cooperi looks awfully like Lampranthus here ????????

Lovely photos, Dorsetmike. Your Hydrangea is about along with mine, growthwise.

pete, I don't have any Lampranthus a foot tall, maybe half! Yours does like something more I'd like than mine, however, as mine get "straggly" and I have to be cruel to be kind and chop them back constantly ... ha, maybe that's why they are not a foot tall?

Gorgeous plants Strongy - love that Begonia. Is it true they are hard to grow? - never had the courage to try them as whenever I've tried to store things over winter they just pack up on me - and you have to do that with Begonias don't you?

Is Nemisia what I call Monkey Flower?

Oh, thanks Walnut. I'll try to remember that. I used to have some monkey flowers a couple of years ago - you'd think I'd remember the difference.

So much to learn............ so little time.

    Who said that??
