roders, my dearest, I must say I have never seen a Cercis that old here, quite stunning.

I completely agree with you on the reason for the name of the tree, which is a Catholosism thing, of which I am a non-practising one.

I also know it as the Tree of Love and mine was bought in memory of my beautiful Skwij who died here aged 13, and is buried here because it's also called the Tree of Love ... I assume from non-Catholic religions.

Gosh, I'm crying, shouldn't have done this ... don't you miss them! He was my boy who took on Magic Sam (Boo) when he (Skwij) was only four and his sister Puschka didn't want to know.

    They tear your heart out.

I have the Cercis for Skwij and lots of mini roses for his sister Puschka, who died last year, just before she was 15. I think this was the last pic of her ..

They're beautiful, Babe. My honeysuckle, the L periclymenum like yours, is just about finished it's first flush, but the scent is heavenly.

Sadly, my Rhapsody in Blue rose is not as pretty as yours. :( Love that Annony White, it's almost pale yellow.

Lovely photos and good colour. [IMG]

Beautiful pictures everyone. Especially appreciate more Judas Tree roders - I didn't know the flowers sprouted from the trunk - that is amazing!

LOL - your cats were beautiful. Our beloved pets do touch is in a very special way. know that htey are safe and happy in a special place now.

Dizi - is that a Lewesia (or something) - I always wantd one since seeing misty cover of County Life Magazine with them in terracotta pots on beautiful, paint peeling cast iron table - but have yet to try one.

Waco - loving your tulips - especially the parrot type in fromt of the conifer!

[IMG] thank you for the name of my plant! The photo doesnt really do the flowers justice, they are really something special, this is my first attempt at a rockery and I am thrilled with them. [IMG] (excuse my ramblings I am having a proud parent moment over them!)
