    It was given to me but I when I looked it up it looked like Abutilon Megapotamicum, and 'kentish belle'

    Not sure BM, the one I put in the June comp was a Mega we bought last year and has bloomed all through the winter here and is still going strong .. far better than the shrub A hybrida which has this "virus" of yellow spotted leaves; looks awful but the books say it's okay .. I want to throw it away!

    Completely hardy in my view. They flower pretty much all year except this year which was very cold and one did defoliate. But its fine now as you can see in the pics.

    I got one of those!!!! Its got loads of flowers on it, and it came cheap from good old Wilkos!!!! (trouble is, I keep calling it an Ablution!!! :D )

    What I didn't realise was that it should be treated as a climber. It flopped all over the place and when I looked it up on the net, found it classed as one, so its held up with a tripod in its pot now..... :rolleyes:

    Is yours supported??

    Yes the main stem is tied into the trelis, and the off shoots flop nicely with their buds [​IMG]
