    Welcome Fairynuff.

I am really into pond and marginal plants and I haven't got a pond as such. All mine are grown in sunken containers and small lined overfilled dugouts.

    This site is pretty good.

If you post some pics of the pond it will make it easier to see what would fit and look good around whats already there.

    Again welcome. Banana Man.

Thats ok, just need the right plants. Just log the highest and lowest points of the pond and when planting make a judgement on where it is appropriate to put each plant depending on what position it likes to moisture, be it full on wet or just damp. There are ways round most obstacles.

Wow!, nice space and boy what a project. I think the list of plants open to you is endless. Plan the hard landscaping first even if its not much, then think about what you want to be looking at when you sitting down, standing up, what you want to hide etc etc. I could spend a lot of time telling you what to put where but look at the internet sites on pond and aquatic plants and see what you like first. It is a big area, definately need some monster plants!!!

Excellent pictures, lovely garden. Congratulations on getting them on the board - however next time you post pictures can you resize them to between 400 - 600 pixels. Some members still have dial up and smaller pictures are easier to see and download.
