    Hi Pete

    Don't know if you remember, but you let me know how to do this earlier this summer. The results are in the greenhouse, still hanging in there, looking very promising for next year. I am going to bring it into the house over winter, though. The kiddies are really excited we are growing pineapples!!! :rolleyes:

    I just love pineapple we had it in thailand off the carts it was the sweetest i have ever tasted and i just adore pineapple juice its the most refreshing drink to quench your thirst

    Thanks for that Pete, I guess my problem before has always been the lack of sustained heat then. I have a conservatory so light is not a problem, but it is unheated and gets no sun in winter so is bl**dy baltic from Dec to Feb. :(
    I'll have another go in late winter/early Spring.
