bamboo stems

    some time ago I bought three bamboo stems along with some cut flowers. The bamboos have rooted like crazy, and have enormous shoots growing. Is it possible for me to pinch off some of the shoots and pot them up for house plants ? :

    If these are the type that are spiral then they are dracaenas not bamboo, but often sold as bamboo or lucky bamboo

    But yes they are very easy to root and grow and can be grown as a houseplant

    will have a go, but not usually very good with houseplants !!! do much better in the garden.
