three cornered leek

    I have a large bed of of "invasive" three cornered leek. How can I eliminate it?

    Its Allium Triquetrum. It looks similar to a bluebell except that it has white flowers and stinks of garlic, especially when bruised. It is often found growing wild although I think you can prchase it.

    Oh. We call it ramsons or wild garlic up here. Have you tried digging it up (slow & labourious, I know) or light deprivation?. I think it's lovely, but if it's giving you jip (bit like the couch grass, & sticky willy in my garden)then I think it's a question of slow elimination. Good luck!!

    apparently it doesn't respond to Glyphosate etc, see above links

    thats a bit unlucky, digging it out must be the only option then.

    Thanks to Pete2255 and Bayleaf for your responses. The sites mentioned some herbicides so I'll have a go with them.
