What is it?

    Had this tree for years in a pot, was bought to us and it has been moved from house to house and pot to pot, dog had most of it last year!

    Finally got a garden (see introduction) and it now has a nice place in the sun, it has never flowered like thios before, flowers were usually dark red but now seem pink!

    Looks like an Azalea of some kind.

    I would agree it's an Azalea ... obviously like its new home. :)

    They like peaty soil and warm moist conditions and do well in the shade. They do not like strong sun .., ie, I cannot have them in the sun here.
