Hi Roders, sorry missed the update of this thread.Congratulations to both you and Mrs Roders on your great achievment and Thank you for sharing your walk up Helvellyn:thumb:

There is no way on this earth would I ever climb up there.I am terrified of heights and just looking at striding edge makes me feel dizzy:eek:

I have been up and down Ben Nevis,Scarfell Pike and Snowdon and they were bad enough but I did them because Mr K wanted to do them.I take my halo off to you and Mrs Roders for being able to do it and the photos are fantastic and you both look a lovley couple:thumb::)

so holiday season is here! Off to glastonbudget this weekend in Leicestershire, there's still some tickets left if anyones interested! then a quick nip home to shower and get clean clothes etc and off to Malton, north yorks for a few days. back to work for 4 days and off again to the Cotswolds. And so, the reason for my post....... we will be staying at tewkesbury, winchcombe, cirencester and broadway and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of things to see that are within WALKING or CYCLING distance from any of those places, preferably dog friendly too!! Any Cotswoldians on here????

My Striding Edge days have gone :). I could still get up there but I don't think my poor old knees would survive the walk down  :D
