    Hi everyone,
I'm Rachel and I live in very rainy Manchester with my husband and two young children.

We've inherited a lovely mature garden with lawn and shrubs (from my grandparents), but we're completely useless, and we're slowing killing everything off! At the front we have all block paving, plus a small rockery area. I hate the block paving, and would love to get it landscaped, but for now i'm making do with getting some new pots and plants.

I'm looking forward to browsing the site and hopefully getting some advice so we don't kill what's remaining in the garden!

    Rachel

Rachel, welcome, but can I ask you as I'm also a resident of south Manchester, you're not supposed to tell people it rains a lot here.
If anyone asks, "What's the weather like?" You're supposed to say; "It's warm and sunny!" even if it's snowing.
