End of an era

its a good idea Lol just in case it is quite easy to do but it is a farse cos if you get it wrong you have to start again.

Hopefully your code will not go off but you never know. Once it goes off mind you will have to take the keys to the garage and get them recoded will cost mind but dont know how much, I never bothered as mine was off the road at the time.

 

Sunshine, with hindsight, perhaps I can't help! I don't think mine has anything to do with the key. I have a keypad in the car next to the cigarette lighter.

My directions (translated from Portuguese) to change the code are ...

* Turn the ignition to on where the oil light comes on (I have four positions for the key).
* Key in the current code.
* Press Button C.
* Key in the new code.
* Press Button C to confirm and the four new numbers you keyed in will pulsate.

Bingo.

When I start the car, I turn the key to where the oil light comes on, key in the code, then start the car ... it won't start just with the key.

You obviously have a key-based imobiliser.

 

Is it me? All I can see are pictures of a castle, a horse and a seal!!!

 

I'm still seeing pictures of a Fiat Punto.S, Celia ... but I know Sunshine has pictures of castles horses and seals ... :confused:

 

Celia if you only new i am having alot of probs with pb at the mo, it has turned out quite funny all the pics i seem to put up come out totally different i am seeing the car but yous lot will be seeing something totally different, lol you say you are seeing the car are they all of the car because mine have now changed i have got seals castle and rosa taking pics, it has been a nightmare but a funny one i have never laughed so much in my life as i have with all this carry on.
anyone else not got the car please tell me and i will change them if i can mind cos when i click on the car copy and paste it is something totally different :D :D :D :eek:

Lol it is so funny i have only 4 pics of the car and got me seals castle and rosa taking pics, they were all of the car at first then they all changed so what you see is different to me and the same for every one else. Put it this way i put a pics of me horses up on rosas forum and guess what everyone else saw it was rosa, i can see horses but they see rosa, all of my pics in pb have gone heywire mixed up is not the word i am demented but had a good laugh in the meantime :D :D :D

 

Sunshine ... all I can say is thank goodness I'm seeing the real thing ... :eek:

 

Just wish i new what or is going on all my pics not what they should be :eek: :D :D
