    AT LAST I am a Grandad,a baby boy Elliot Jack,8lb 2oz...........Born on my sons 3rd wedding anniversary July 31st..Brilliant News.
    Here he is...................

    On a sadder note my father passed away yesterday after a long illness but he will suffer no more,he being a religious man is now in a place he wanted to be.
    He was actually a great grandad for 6 hours.

    Here is a pic. of him as a Royal Marine in the second wold war. [​IMG]

    Congratulations Roders, a beautiful grandson. Sorry you lost your father at the same time - but in a way its good that as one life ended, another began.

    Congratulations Roders on becoming a grandfather now no one can stop you pottering about in your garden because thats what grandads do best :D

    On another note, sorry about your loss but you can be sure that Elliot has somebody watching over him ;)
