    Today was my first day!

After 10 months of unemployment (most of which I used my savings on)I had an interview at the beginning of July for a large company. Suddenly had quite important people telling me I had an impressive resume as opposed to others who wouldn't even bother to reply.

Was offered the job on the spot - talk about a morale boost and after the paperwork came through I started today. Have aching feet, blisters and am knackered but boy, am I grinning even now.

Turns out I have an expense account too. Gosh, I feel like a proper grown up. Will have to get one of those trendy Blackberries to keep up with all my appointments.

Actually, maybe not, I'll probably call it a Strawberry and send e-mails to the wrong company!

Thank you to all of you who wished me luck in job hunting - I have to get this silly grin off my face before tomorrow or they will stop telling me about al the perks!
