Now, this makes me feel old.

My daughter and her husband have arrived to stay for the weekend and informed us we will be grand parents in February.

Exciting, but scary. I'm too young to be a grandad.

I became an Auntie at seven and I am now a Great Aunt,so it won't be many years before I am a Great Great Aunt scary or what

Hi KG,no it was no typo,he was deadly serious.I expect he had a family quite young and then one of his children obviously had a child themselves when young. :eek:

When I was at school one of the girls in my class had a baby at 11 years of age,and she never used to say boo to a goose let alone doing unmentionables at that age.Her mum helped her bring up the baby and she came back to school in our last year at Senior school,but she had lost so much schooling.She probably became a Grandmother at quiet a young age herself,because the child she had would be forty by now.Doesn't bare thinking about :eek:

 

Rich at 102 years of age you shouldnt be worrying about being a grandad! or have you made a typing error?

 

I became mum at 26 and a granny at 27, Now that is frightening................being called Grannyj before I was 30.

 

So far 10 grandchildren 2 great grand children and one step grandchild who is younger than the great grand kids.
