My boy is getting Published

Just thought I would let everyone know that my 8 year old is getting published he won a competition for young writers and his poem is being puplished in the Little Laureates Poems From Northern England Vol ll, his poem was entered through the school there were entries from all over the Uk and overseas and he won, his poem of Happiness has been selected to be published in the September edition of the book. I cant tell you how proud I am of him, I have been crying with proud all day and cant wait to see it in the book. I have had to sign a Copyright/Permission form for Joshs piece to be published. I didnt even know he had entered this competion but I am so very very proud of him
Just thought I would share my happy news with everyone hope you dont mind

Happiness

Happiness is green like a rainforest
with beautiful butterflies,
It sounds like monkeys swinging from vine to vine
on a summers day.
It smells like freshly grown apples in the sun,
It looks like a boy smiling when he hugs his parents.
It feels like music to my ears,
it reminds me of beautiful times.

I cant see now I am crying hope you like it cos I am so so proud of him
