Amazing!

    Thought I'd share a really happy event from my day at work yesterday.

    My crewmate and I delivered a baby girl!! [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Fascinating experience and although not the first I've done, it was Fiona's first and the first I've done before the midwife arrived!

    All went really well and mum and babe are doing great! Pity they'd already picked a name!!

    Well done Sarha, if the midwife was anything like the one we had for our home births she was probably better off with you and your mate.

    Thanks folks! Still ridin' the high 2 days later! Lovely to see a patient who isn't in the least bit ill! (And not a time waster!!)

    You're so right Fran - watching a little purple human fight to get that first breath in and then out again as a wail is awesome! What a sense of relief that brings as you realise nothing is going wrong!
