Hi folks. I thought you might like to know about the free recycling site. It's brill for getting rid of most of your unwanted articles and maybe getting something of use that no one else wants. Sorry if this has already been aired on here before. http://freecycle.org/groups/unitedkingdom/

I'm a fan of freecycle. It's agood thing I have only a small car as I would constantly be carting things like rockery stones, greenhouses etc home. This one amused me recently:

    Subject: [freecyclefrome] WANTED: Moon

Must be on a stick (preferably of natural materials).

And this week there is someone who wants to get rid of a whole pond....
    :D

I am a big freecycle fan too, I have cleared lots of unwanted items from our shed on there and received lots of stuff too, there are often plants on there at this time of year as people have grown too many seeds!! The best thing is it's all free and saves the landfill [IMG]

I love freecycle and use it a lot. I recently picked up some great chimney pots to use as planters.

Old Victorian bricks, 2x2 slabs, rockery rocks and goldfish all obtained through freecycle. Will be picking up some large concrete planters at the weekend
