Oyster-card concessions

    It was announced yesterday that travel-concessions are to be available for those on income support. Fine! Public transport fares are dear and, if you're trying to get by on around �£50 a week, travelling takes a considerable amount from that budget. The trouble is People on Jobseeker's Allowance, who one would think should be encouraged to travel around looking for work and who have to pay fares when attending job-interviews, are not to be included in the scheme.
    Good old Ken Livingstone! With berks like you running the Capital city and similar nincompoops in Parliament I don't see why I should bother to tend my garden as dear old Britannia, rather than ruling the waves, will soon sink below them. :mad:

    I agree with everything you have said! I walk when ever i can to save my money, �£2-20 to go into town and back and its only just over 1 mile.
