Maybe you could try a really tight t-shirt, Windy? Lycra, maybe - nice and strong too!

The Moonwalk is a walking marathon, starting at midnight, and everyone wears decorated bras - all in aid of Breast Cancer Charities.

    Here's the Link

its all good fun, and even those not able to run can take part!!!
And because it is in the dark, you can wear as much Lycra as you want!!!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

That link is a Sun walk - daytime stuff!!

Like the idea, though - but would rather do it as part of a group - would feel a bit of an idiot going along by myself [IMG]

Don't ask! Far too knackered at the end of the day to run! But I'm certainly fit enough to walk - so at least I'll be able to do that! 4 weeks today - maybe I'll manage to run a bit of it.....

All fit for the race, Dendrobium ?
Don't do too much gardening the day before...

As you say, anyway, what matter most is not being among the first, but the nice gesture to participate to this important event in support of breast cancer.

Hello, I'm very proud of you and also as a fellow female very grateful to you for doing the Race for Life. I did the Playtex Moonwalk in 2005 which is in London 26.2 miles, the weekend after with my sister I did the Race for Life (we walked it). Sadly, life has overtaken me somewhat in the past 2 years and I've been unable to do either. My aunt passed away 2 weeks ago from cancer which started as breast cancer in 1999, so THANK YOU! All the very best. x

Thanks for all the support, everyone! :D

I doubt if I'll be running, but I'll definitely be there and do it, and might run a bit - it's not very far, but I just never have the time or energy at the end of the day to train for running......
