As often happens after christmas i have put weight on as do lots of people, although i am not fat only just over nine stone, i aways try to keep reasonably slim as i am only 5ft 3, but instead of dieting this year i have paul mckenna's book on how to make yourself thin, it's fantastic and you will never have to diet again after you have read it, it also comes with a cd.

Oooh, I LOVE Paul McKenna, wg. Maybe I'll try to get it from here.

Are you going to join our GC Weigh-in "Club" on Monday mornings?

I'm sooooooo jealous, you are my height and 1st 8lbs lighter ... how CAN you say you have gained weight?

    Hi Dendrobuim,

I think your weight is not bad for your height, but i do understand that you want to lose a little, when you are not used to being overweight you feel uncomfortable don't you.

A couple of days ago i wrote on this forum the subject of dieting, and said i had put on weight over christmas, i am 5ft 3 and now weighed 9 stone 5 which is too much for me as i have a small frame.
I like to keep around 8 stone 12 or 8 stone 13. I feel so bloated when i put too much on. Which usually goes on my boobs and tum. I have no hips or bum never have had in that area.

I also mentioned that i have paul mckenna's book.
I can make you thin. He says.
    1. Eat when you're hungry
    2. Eat what you actually want
    3. Eat consciously and enjoy each mouthful
    4. Stop when you think your're full

So one day i was just about ready to have my elevenes when i realised i wasn't hungry so i decided to wait till i was, which was about 2 hours later.

He also says only weigh yourself every 2 weeks, so i don't know how much i weigh now till this weekend,i will you know the outcome.

The book comes with a CD too.

Lady of Leisure, you said you liked paul mckenna so i urged you to get this book it's fantastic, he said if you do the things he says you will never have to diet again. The book cost £9.99 and you can also get it on loan from the library.
    Hope this all helps. [IMG]

I think we're jumping threads, dendro.

Thanks, wg. I'll have to order the book via Amazon as I am in Portugal so can't get it on loan from the library!

Hi k3 well done, glad to hear you've giving up the weed. I smoked over 30 years ago and put my money away that i had spent to buy cigs then i treated my self to new clothes. Now i am much more healthier and don't smell of an ashtray anymore.

Hi Lol, have you got paul mckenna's book yet?
I have been so busy this week and nothing has gone to plan so i haven't had time to put into practice much of what the book says, but after weighing myself after the 2 weeks i was surprised to learn i had lost 2 pounds, so next week i will concentrate more on what paul has to say. [IMG]

Paul McKenna was on QVC last week selling his book and CD but it was more expensive than £9.99p and then P&P was extra. I feel sure if you want this book QVC may be able to help you.

YOU ARE ALL FATTIES THAT NEED TO BUY MY BOOKS, DVDS AND CDS....

From what I have seen of PMck's weight loss material it is positive state of mind common sense. Thinking about what and why we are doing things applies to our eating too. Positive thinking does work and people find it easy to listen to him. He could sell snow to Inuits and I think he can help open people minds to what they are doing wrong. From what I saw changing eating behaviour rather than just their diet.

Its a positive message and I thought it was useful stuff from what I saw. [IMG]

And by the way I was joking you are all proper Gorge, especially DAG [IMG]

I bought my Paul McKenna book with CD from Sainsburys for just a few pounds (can't remember exactly but think it was about £8)

Is this QVC edition something special?
