Unfortunatly due to a veterinary emergency callout i was unable to attend my weekly weigh in. Which is probably just as well as was very naughty on friday night when Mr B took me out for a late valentine meal and had a 3 course meal and a bottle of bubbly BUT have been good the rest of the week so hopefully will still have lost a reasonable amount at next weeks weigh in! :D
BM i think ice cubes are far better than choccy cheese cake as far less messy! :D  [IMG]

Hope your veterinary emergency is now sorted, B.

I think your suggestion sounds very much less attractive - too cold!

So - are we all on course for next week then, with nothing to blame this time (if not Pancake Day..... )

I can only really speak for myself, MF - but have a scroll back through, and you'll see!

Everybody has very kindly been avoiding asking me about the swimming..... probably in case I'd given up! How polite and restrained you all are! :D

Well, I've not given up, in fact I'm in the pool most days, sometimes, like today, even twice  BUT I still can't do without these tiny little floats that I trust so much!! It doesn't matter that I know for certain that they're not doing much, but don't dare anyone try to take them away from me!!

I can swim half a length of the pool (all the same depth there, it's the breadths that get deeper....) face under the water, just up to breathe between strokes, no problem, and I'm loving it - muscles toning up nicely, and I'm getting very confident - one day I will swim without them!!!! I am determined! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Good for you dendrobium, keep up the good work you WILL get there. It took me ages and ages to learn to swim, I'm still not very confident especially if someone gets in my way, I tend to panic slightly. Mabe I should go for more lessons! [IMG]

We could all get those t-shirts, couldn't we! And use them as our recognition symbol for the "great meet-up"!!

Dalbuie - you see some far scarier sights at the pool, believe me!

I've been again tonight - did you all notice I'd gone? No, thought not! :D

[IMG] Oh dear, what can I say, put a pound on this week, been shifting furniture and sorting boxes, but not the right sort of exercise again!

Worst of all I tried to get past a certain restaurant again (twice this week) but I was forced, yes forced, by 'err-in-doors' to go in! [IMG]

    :D :D

Down one more to 10st 6lbs so 11 off and just about another inch off my waist.

I'm getting there slowly but I've not been exercising! [IMG] Now that half term is over and visiting friends have gone back to the UK the luncheons out will be back to the normal once a week.
