Home for Christmas......

    ..... but a bit late.....

    Has anyone else been affected byt the fog down south? Middle son has been at Luton Airport for a lot longer than he wanted to be, but at least his flight is expected to take off any minute now, about 40 minutes after he should have arrived here....

    But what about all those poor people whose flights have been cancelled? Some of them may be able to make alternative arrangements to get home, or on holiday for Christmas, whatever their plans are - but a lot won't. I feel really sorry for them and their families.

    Travelling at this time of the year is something I no longer have to endure thank goodness!

    Thanks for that, Pal. Just got the news from Mr D at Edinburgh airport waiting for the supposed arrival3 minutes ago - it's now due at 20:00. We were intending to have a takeway - now it's everyone help themselves to what they want when they want it.... FOG!!!!

    hope your sons flight has left and he gets home soon.
    My friends drove to manchester airport this morning and their flight to goa went off on time 8 tonight so no problems there
