    I think they look incredible with rain drops just sitting on them like that Woo, just reminds you how wonderful mother nature can be.. :thumb:

    :scratch: I just think it is because it has been so cold & such a long winter as they seem late around here as well..

    You're right about the roses being late Woo.
    We're into the middle of June And the first of mine are just coming. I usually expect to see them late May on the south side and early June elsewhere.
    As for the rain - we haven't had much - but no amount of watering does the same job as rain.

    I'm so glad to read these posts about the lateness of roses.
    I moved to my present home, plus garden, late last year and haven't much experience of gardening, but pruned the roses as they were looking awful (the house had been empty all summer). I was so worried that I'd damaged them, but they are now just about coming into flower. I gather that its the weather to blame and not me that they are late.

    My favourite colour rose Woo and I think I can smell it from here!
