Mmmm, that even made my attempts at wall papering look good - and I stopped doing it as I could not do it well, and moved to painting instead.

I trust all has now been done properly - or ???

This is absolutely appalling, Elaine - there's no way you should have to put up with this sort of shoddy workmanship. How anyone can have the gall to do a job they patently can't do completely baffles me.
You have all my sympathy and best wishes in sorting it out.

I agree with Dendro, Elaine, that is absolutely apalling. I don't think I've ever seen worse! It looks like that is what he was replacing. Horrors! What was he doing with all those bits and pieces and tears and gaps and ....

I wouldn't have paid him a thing and waited until Mr Fiz came home to settle the score!

I do hope you are going to warn the pub landlord/lady and perhaps allow them to see the standard ... or lack thereof ... of this man's work!

That's dreadful...this guy sets himself up as a professional, does he?? And he was practising on you, perhaps??? [IMG]

I have just moved into a new flat, and I got a grant from the Council to decorate...now, since I'm NOT a professional, I decided just to paint it...so far it doesn't look too bad.
