Hi Windy, just caught up with this thread.I am so sorry to hear of your loss. They are just talking about it on GMTV and the money that people have lost. There are no words that express the loss you and many others have experienced. They must have known what was going to happen, and just sucked in more money to help them.
    A hard lesson learned :(

    Thanks everyone [IMG]
*UPDATE* The ex rang me at work today. It seems that his parents have gone out today and bought me vouchers for Asda and Argos!! God bless them [IMG] [IMG] I did cry!!!! Being a proud woman my instinct was to turn them down, but sometimes you're first reaction isn't always the right one ; so I'm swallowing my pride and accepting them very gratefully. It's really eased the pressure and that, coupled with all on GCs kind words, has restored my faith in human kindness. Thanks everyone [IMG] [IMG]

    Thanks M [IMG]
That's the Xmas food and some prezzies sorted [IMG] Means we don't have to struggle quite so much. But I'm determined to get everything that I intended. My kids are not going to miss out because of some unscrupulous rogue with the morals of a cockroach!
(not too sure about cockroaches moral standpoint - but you know what I mean!!) :D

Good for you windy and if the inlaws want to help then let them ..!! at the end of the day its their grandkids that will suffer because of the evil crooks at farepack..dont look a gift horse in the mouth "as they say.".I am sure you will have a nice xmas .. [IMG] I am still hissing and spiting though about the whole situation the way the lower incomes are targeted you can bet your life they will have been syphoning money off and away for months..and the worst of it is they will rise again when the dust has settled..

My friend saw Lynn Foulds Wood on the TV this morning. Apparently, she's fighting for our cause. She was outside the Farepaks bosses house in Mayfair  But it was in darkness - surprise!!!!! She's very good at what she does so you never know I might see some of my money back yet!!!
I know what you mean about hissing about it though. It's the whole injustice of the thing!! The people who buy these vouchers in the first place are the decent, struggling to make ends meet folk, generally with small children. Not the ones with a home in Mayfair!!!!

Maybe even get a bonus from the company in the end...!!! Good can come from bad in the strangest of ways sometimes....! [IMG]
