I was in a flap the other day searching for an old dish.It isn`t valuable, but belonged to my Grandmother, who used to make trifle in it for me and my brothers when we were kid`s.Kitchen cupboards ransacked, pans on the floor etc.In the end i came to the conclusion "someone" had smashed it and so, had it in my mind to ask, calmly,if anyone had any idea?Of course i forgot to ask.Yesterday i was cleaning the work tops down in the kitchen and lifted the said dish which was covered with a tea-towel."What`s in that?"i said to myself. My lovely tomatoes sitting in my lovely old dish.Sometimes i`m glad i forget. Where to begin???
Gas oven left on for 4 days while i was away for Christmas....
inability to turn a cooker ring OFF.....
    or the worst one.....
Bedside light was to dim, so took the shade off and placed light on the bed beside me..........woke up to smoldering bedsheet!! Not so much a SM as just plain stupid!
Needless to say Mr BB doesn't like me leaving me to my own devices!

I was in the Hairdressers over Christmas(a little treat)and was reading a mag while waiting for my hair to change colour when i noticed the hairdresser raking around in trolleys etc.I thought she must be searching for a favourite brush or whatever and asked her, "What have you lost Tracy?" "My scissors" she answered.I had to point out they were in her hand. [IMG]

This happened to me at school so hardly a senior moment but...

Writing an essay in my book with my fountain pen, got to the end of the page and was waiting for the ink to dry before I could turn over the page; for some reason I thought to myself "I'll just write a little bit more (on the same page!) while I'm waiting for the ink to dry !!!

I can remember my late brother Ron telling me he couldn't find his glasses anywhere so he went and brought some more and this time he decided he would put them where he would remember, guess what the ones that he lost where in that place.

Now I don't go to bonfire displays it throws me out with the months so I think its earlier in the year and bonfire night hasn't come yet.

How's this for another senior moment, I was trying to take my glasses off when i had'nt even got them on!

Nope not done that one. Not putting oven on, I'm very good at turning everything on at the right time, then leaving it. very dry veg, burnt offering in oven and gravy just burnt stain on bottom of pan............
Often put kitchen items away in wrong place, but never gardening paraphanalia. Always go away in right place. Never loose a tool. but often find coffee jar in fridge. kettle on cooker. Fridge door open. Freezer lid not shut. But power tools cleaned before putting away. Generally while dinner burning. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I always put everything in the right place but t'other half can never remember where the right place is, even if it's been in the same place for 20 years!

My senior moment is in the middle of a sentence, I completely forget what I was talking about and have to ask the other person what I was saying! [IMG] [IMG]
