:D It was a wonderful experience rosa, I agree... [IMG] [IMG] I have holidayed every year in some wonderful places, but this holiday was, somehow far more enjoyable than any I have had in a while... I am not really sure, exactly why... I shall definately go back again to see other parts of Canada. I would like to go out west & travel back to the east through the Rockies on a train, maybe the whole journey, but am inclined to think just the Rockies... As much as I love trains, I think there is a limit even to my contentment on a journey like that...!!! I know I would be getting on & off to go & visit areas, but then you would need a car... So think maybe drive after the Rockies......... Ho hum, we shall have to see.. Then of course I would love to go to Alaska. A friend of mine is married to a US coastgaurd (ret now), but they were stationed in Alaska & her sister still lives there....! Well I can dream can't I........!! [IMG] [IMG] :D

First time we had the full length yellow waterproofs and didn't get drowned so much as the last time with the shorter ponchos. Still getting wet was half the fun. [IMG]

[IMG] It really is a super place papajo.. I shall return...!! [IMG] As I say, thinking of taking a train ride next time..! I have many more photos of other places we went, maybe slightly more off the beaten track, I do have to say though that the Mennonite Market was wonderful stuff. The produce was exceptional... Shame about their town of ST,Jacobs.... Totally ruined I thought by all the commercial "tat" shops... Very little trace of Mennonites there.... But they are not stupid, why should we oggle at their way of life. I thought it good that they did celebrate part of the modern day & technology. Not quite like the Amish. They had such beautiful farms though & all kept up so well.... Think that has something to say of their way of life... [IMG]
Yes Papajo, definately going back..!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I have friends in Winnipeg. Do you think I should accept their invitation to visit??
I think they are a bit remote there and a long stay might be a strain on us all!
