    there is still an old chappie round here drives a plastic pig. It never seems to fail him.

    Heard about that ruse. My gripe is urban 4x4s only, where they aren't necessary but take up loads of space and give an entirely unfortunate image. Have to say, a Range Rover driver who doesnt fly ever is probably more environmentally more benign than a prius driver who nips on EasyJet to his house in France every 2nd weekend. Who knows but its good to gripe ;)

    Mmmm Jazid, I agree those who buy them with no work or towing need - its sheer status, covered by an excuse of child safety, for the little darlings who sit and stand without seat belts in this safe vehicle while their mother chats on her mobile whilst driving.

    If smokers are not to be allowed to pollute the lungs of others due to their choice of lifestyle, then maybe 4x4 owners who chose the vehicle with no need, should not be allowed to contribute to the CO2 production in any built up area. [​IMG] Well one can dream?
