    Hi all,
Had a really bad day yesterday. Work was ok it all went t*ts up when I got home. My cars failed it's MOT. Needs welding as they found a huge hole underneath :( My eldest hurt her back skateboarding. Then the wall lights in the lounge blew, fusing all the lights downstairs and when I went to turn the standard lamp on instead it inexplicably fell apart. Finally got to sit down at 9pm and one of my little darlings has caused a big pull in the middle of one of my still being paid for sofas. And to top it all, my new central heating is costing me £186.75 for the minimum delivery of oil. And I'm out of work in 3weeks :( :(
    Feel like giving up completely.
Sorry to moan. Feel a bit better now I've got it out of my system. But I wish life would be a little more kind sometimes :(

    Sorry for being O/T

windy miller, your oil heating has just reminded me of something I saw recently, are you covered on your insurance for an oil storage tank in the garden?

I am truly sorry to add to your problems, but feel that you should be aware of the situation, but hopefully you have taken this into account?

Thanks Wildflower and Rosa for your kind words. Some parts of being a single mum really are sh*t :( Feeling a bit embarrassed now, feeling a lot more optimistic after a days graft.
Dag, I didn't know that an oil tank would affect my insurance. Do you know much about it? I'd check my docs but there's a radiator in front of the filing cabinet at the mo
Bananaman, your graphics made me laugh. Thanx :D
When all else fails, I shall take comfort at the alter of Stella Artois :D :D

If the Stella doesn't work, I find red wine does the trick.

I know you're living under a black cloud at the moment, but believe me, they're be lots of sunny days ahead for you.

Thanks everyone. I really am feeling much better [IMG] (Stella has been round to play) :D
DAG, thanx for the info, will dig out my insurance and give em a ring to check. It's supposed to be a super safe double thickness tank, but I'd never thought about the pipework
I'm super chilled today. Wasn't even slightly freaked when I got back from work to discover a leak under the floorboards upstairs. The lazy, stoopid illegitimate child who put in my new bathroom has used all the wrong plumbing and its been leaking for 3 months. He obviously knew it was leaking before he put the floor back down coz he's wrapped a j-cloth round it. hahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  tHINK i'M GOING HYSTERICAL
Stella wants to play Ker-Plunk, she says it will cheer me up :D :D

Windy, I made up a joke when I was at school in geography class.

What do you call a tribe of desert wandering eunuchs ?

    No 'nads'

We were studying the desert and part of that was nomadic tribes.

BM [IMG] I am now 31 and sadly still find it amusing. :(
