Did anyone actually do any gardening over Christmas?

I dug up my parsnips on Christmas eve and they were really good. made really good eating too. First I've ever grown!

Hi,Good Christmas I hope!. Just finished pruning my 50ft rambling rose,Wedding Bells. It's a labour of love because the results at flowering time are a wonder. Apart from that, starting to build more cold frames ready for all the seeds off G.C.

I prefer armchair gardening this time of year. Planning, dreaming and scheming of the glories of next year.

The only action in my garden has been cutting fire-wood.

Central heating is moving up the list.
