Golf in the morning, then lunch and a pint at the club and an hour discussing trivia.
Then I had to come home and water the garden....
Well keep an eye on the sprinkler from my comfortable chair on the verandah of my summerhouse.... with a couple of Peroni's from its fridge.
Although I did have to move the sprinkler...twice!

It was all I could do to reach my camera.

Lovely pictures Doghouse. I hope your camera is full automatic, and you don't have to do anything. I once confused a sales assistant many year ago by saying that I wanted a full automatic camera that did everything, including pointing itself in the right direction. :D

    Thanks for that.

It's a relatively inexpensive (£99) little Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ7, now about three years old.
It has among other things, a "simple" mode, an "intelligent" mode and a "presets for dummies" mode, I tend to use the first and last most.
It also takes brilliant short videos with excellent sound.

I recently had to buy a new camera and allowed Jessops to talk me into a bigger memory card which (so the 'blurb' informs me) means that my camera is now capable of taking ' ... up to 2 hrs of video...' . And the Cannes Film Festival ends tomorrow :dh:

"Up to two hours of video" and 20 mins battery life!

As mine can give up half way through a video if I've been using it a lot, I've three sets of re-chargeable batteries, one set in the camera, one set ready and two in the charger (somewhere).

Yours sounds as if it has a big memory card. Mine's only 1GB.
Depends of course how many mega-pixels the camera accomodates.

    I think my camera "complies."

After 20 minutes use in video mode, even if I was using a card with that sort of capacity, the battery warning light will come on so I'd have to stop and change batteries.

    Some more photos.

Ceanothus, a handy sun-shade for the fish.

The last of the wisteria blooms, they're already dropping off at the "other end." What a mess they make!
