Anne-Marie, thanks for bringing this to the top, I hadn't read it before, another good laugh from this forum! We've got a new youngest member, Dave Martin, but [unless anyone knows better] Rosietu still has her crown for the other end of the spectrum.

One of the nice things about gardening is that there are no age barriers - just physical ones (whatever your age) and a little adaptation can get round most of those :D

Added bonus is that is a very healthy (physical and mental) occupation - if one excludes the hazards.

 

I could be 45 but I am a bit backward too. :D :D

 

I thought no one on here would confess to being over 29! A nice age?

Im 35 and lots of people tell me" If you think its hard pushing 40 wait till you start pulling it" :D :D :D

Fabulous fifties - is so much better. Someone told me that there is a change in mind set at 50 - and they were right. Life gets back in proportion. Now if someone would please stop the body clock - I would be well content. :D :D

 

I'm 43 and get a shock everytime I look in the mirror! Inside I'm still that 15 year old who hasn't a clue where life is taking her!

 

sheppy, but if we did know where life was taking us, it would be boring?

Anyway, where ever you are, you start all over again when you retire!

 

Well I've just blown my first tranche of winter fuel allowance on a week in Spain, though the Head Gardener reckons she'd already spent it on frocks before Christmas.
