    Hi Chaps,
I've noticed some greenfly on plants/cuttings in the Greenhouse. It surprised me cos I thought it was too early for greenfly! Also noticed some tiny white specs on some leaves and in the growing medium they're in. Also it's a bit sticky on some leaves. Do I have a problem with these things? I read somewhere that greenhouse owners should use Smokebombs (??) in the spring - is this something I should do? This is the first full spring of having stuff in there, although Pete built this late last summer and I've had cuttings and over wintered Geraniums in there. Should I have the door open do'ya think? I could take a picture of this greenhouse and show you but note sure it's uploadable to this website/forum.

I'm quite concerned about these bugs...

Thank you Sarraceniac, just read the link. Mmm. I'll get that spray out and fill with soapy water and see what happens.

Aphid attack! What you have described could be Peach Potato Aphid.Tiny white creatures almost ashlike leaving leaves sticky and soon you have a sickly plant. If you don't get rid of them they spread like mad through your greenhouse.Spray leaves every day and repot. Dont leave old compost in greenhouse and check your bags of compost in case that's we're they are coming from.

I did'nt take a picture of my infestation last season before I put the pepper plants on the bonfire! I think the little beggers came along with a couple of shop bought plants O'erindoors came home with
