hey guys, I'm new to the forum :D

I've planted up by fuchsia hanging baskets in say mid april, and theyve grown a lot since, with a healthy length. I'm just wondering when they will start to flower :D

I am testing out these fuchsias this year to see whether they would be worth in hanging baskets every year!

    Welcome Kevin,

It would depend on which fuschias you have planted. Normally they wouldn't flower for another month, at least, but they should then continue flowering until the frost. It would help them if you also put in a slow release fertiliser. Then you wouldn't have to remember to feed them :).

Once they have started flowering you will need to deadhead them (remove flowers as they die) as this will encourage them to produce more flower.

    Good luck.

I love fuschias in hanging baskets and have just planted up a basket with some trailing fuschias.

They will need loads of water and preferably a spot with some shade.
