Worms

    I have been digging out some raised beds and have not found any worms at all, could there be a reason for this.

    Most probably due to dry soil and/or lack of vegetable material in the soil.

    I will be putting my own compost on the top, which I brought from my old house with me, which did have plenty of worms in it. Shuold I mix it in or is ok to just spread it on top.
