can anyone id this seedling?

    looks like a dicentra spectabilis to me!!

    but i would hold off til the more experienced have had a peep at it

    The things which I had in abundance last year (first year in house and wanted to see what was in the flower beds) were pink annual geranium, the very small flowered pink geranium too and love-in-a-mist.

    So the cranesbill seems a definite possibility.

    Thanks for all your help. On further research (google images) I think it is love in a mist. Now I have to decide whether to leave them or pull them!

    I think it is too. Marley identified something for me that looks very much like that.

    My first thought was Nigella although it's not easy to see scale from that picture

    I'd say it's Nigella (Love in a mist)
