    Hi all, [IMG]

This is my first question on the forum so please forgive me if the subject has already been covered.

I bought a banana plant recently and it looks like there are two plants in the pot. Is it ok to safely split them before planting?
Also do they like lots of water and sunshine, some of the leaves are already turning yellow, but new one are starting to 'unroll' (You can tell I know all the proper terms!) [IMG]
    Any help much appreciated...

MRS BUCKET, I really dont think you should split the plants just yet, leave them in the pot and plant them out next year. and split them up then. its a bit late now to plant out in the garden.in 2 months time I shall be putting winter wrap fleece round my banana plants, till april.

    Hi Fancy,

Thanks for letting me know, I would have planted it out by mistake [IMG] .
Instead I'll take your advise and find a cosy corner to put it over winter (winter! I don't believe I said that!), and find a spot for it next spring.
Hope all is well in your garden... [IMG]
