My children's play area needs it's chippings replacing, before I get some more can I put the old well rotted ones on my garden?

Or should I play it safe and put the new on top of the old?

    Many Thanks

    DG

    Hi DG
If they are well rotted they would make perfect mulch on beds or around trees or bushes.

    Good luck

Doesn't even matter about well rotted DG. Mulch contains no nutrition it's purely an insulator For health reasons I'd use it as mulch and let your kids have the new, sweet smelling stuff which is playing it safe for the kids. :D
