has anyone else had problems with the arrival of the Ã?£6 bins promoted through local councils or is it only me?? I ordered mine at the end of april and still havent had it. 'there was a big demand' and 'it will be with you in 10 days' were just 2 of the phone calls and numerous emails I have received from the company through which they are being promoted. To make matters worse a colleague ordered one just a few weeks ago and has had his. the reason- he lives in a different postcode area and its down to the supplier!!!The latst is- i'm sorry but we have no idea when you will get one'. Its ridiculous! there, got that moan off my chest [IMG]

that's very annoying :( I ordered mine direct through the council and they delivered them a few days later.

I did have trouble with a water butt though, it was from blackwall. After two months of waiting I camcelled the order and bought one off ebay for cheaper.

I would love to get hold of these compost bins you are talking about but our local Council won't join in with the scheme, because we now have the new recycling bins, they think we have no need for one.
We compost a lot of our green stuff on our allotment, but then have to bring it back again to put on the borders.
At least having a couple of bins would solve the problem

There seem to be two threads for the same topic. I reckon Nathan will compress them into one - or recycle it :D :D :D

Mine arrived with no probs in June. But my friend ordered 3 of the largest ones just after and she's still waiting!! Keeps being told there's been a high demand and to wait another 10 days.. :(
