Hi George the owner should be given an ASBO for that:)
Well IMHO I personally would,nt put it in a Pot,I would go straight into the Garden at least until it try,s to recover from its Rose Abuse:hehe:
And then go to church tomorrow we need all the help we can get:thmb::)

:thumb: Oh I say Woo, that is excellent, pictures & you have marked where & what to do as well... That is excellent as I have got to move a rose in the next week. It has been in situe for about 10yrs now & I am concerned about what to do with it, but I will follow your instructions now I think Woo. You have answered pretty much what I needed to know I think...:thumb:

Hi WOO ol' chum :). It was a long and costly winter. Lost a lot of the plants in my 'tropical' area, so I'm looking at changing the 'theme'. I had a LOT of issues with my soil type. I had conflicting readings when using an electronic meter compared with a regular test kit (I think I had a thread somewhere on this issue). Anyway, it seems my soil is alkaline, as some of my acid lovers are looking very sick. As you are no doubt aware, it takes a while to get to know your garden, and as with the rest of gardening in general, I'm still getting to know mine. Lessons learned. The Lupins are looking really good at the moment, the flower spikes are forming. The Rose arches too are looking promising, the Roses are starting to bush up and buds showing. As always, I'm keen to move things along, but nature will have it's way, so I just have to be patient. No doubt, my garden will evolve and HOPEFULLY be to my liking one day (and yes, I'm hard to please..at times).

    Cheers...freddy.

Hey Freddy good to see ya mate..!! :thumb: I am sorry to hear you have been having such problems, but sounds like all is not lost, so looking forward to seeing you around a bit more perhaps.. Can you not lift some of your tropicals into pots.? Just a thought Freddy as most of mine are in pots..

Hi Georgebean, I'm hard hearted Hannah and I would have put that apology for a rose on the compost heap. Woo's advice sounds good and the plant looks much better.
How long will it take it to make a decent shrub - if ever ?
Keep us posted - let's see what it does.
    Hope it does great.
