    ...more help, please, with identification. Is it a weed? (yes, I know there's a poor little tomato plant engulfed by it. LOL)

    It's quite a jumble of leaves there milly, but the reddish-green ones look like they could be Leycesteria Formosa.

    Thanks for that, Blackthorn. A friend, alas, now living in France said that she thought it was a Himalayan Honeysuckle, which I believe is the same thing, when it was a tiny thing and I don't even know how it got where it was.

    Another friend said it was a "big weed", next-door said "too pretty for a weed" LOL

    I know the tomato needs rescuing, and I keep stripping the stem of the plant of bindweed, but how do I sort out the jumble, please? Any ideas/advice appreciated please; my hubby and I marvel when anything grows, so novice are we. LOL
