Didn't get the cheapo cold-frame but a lovely one that was reduce from £40+ to £14, also some wall baskets and a great greenhouse heater (haven't got my green house yet!)reduce from £40+ to only £20!

    Helen,

I've been wondering about getting a cold frame, thanks for the tip about that. I had a look on b&q website but could find any frames. **** website imo.

Hi Newbie you get my p.m.? Sorry about that little joke!

Anyway Newbie the one I brought was a 'Parasene' cold frame with twin walled polypropylene instead of glass set on an aluminium frame.

Much safer than glass with my two Yorkies knocking around. :D

Good luck with that £2.60 will get 60 plants and you will still have 10p to put in a 'safe' bank account! :D

Wilkinson's in Scarborough is a bit of a waste of space. Read the thread with great excitement, took what little money the bank manager had left me after charges and rushed down town. 10 rather dead looking pot plants reduced by half (daisies and lupins). No pots at all. They are selling weed-killer now (at full price) in spring they had next to none. I did get a couple of trellises with 25% off but if I had waited I could get them at the 'everything Ã?£1' shop at about half Wilko's sale price, admitted not till spring. [IMG] :(

Walnut I went to Wilkinsons last Friday and 'puppy looked' Bob into buying me a trolley full of terracotta pots all of which were half price, needless to say I was really quite chuffed!

Bob was so impressed with how pleased I was when I potted some of them up that he took me back on Monday to get loads more.....but no luck seems I'm not the only one that loves a bargain they were sold out...what a great pity that their trolleys are only the small ones :(

John you will have to nip over to the west coast we get some good gear from wilkinsons it's all about timing, they had a 2 for 1 deal in spring when the pots first came in. I got a couple of the trellis from the pound shop treated them with preservative put them up they are now as bent as a nine bob note.
