Whats this?

    I "rescued another wheelbarrow full of plants from the empty house next door again this morning but have no idea what these are, the leaves are broad and flat and it has tubuals as a root/bulb system.

    Too early for Gladioli to be that size unless they were growing indoors or under protection.

    Iris maybe?

    Ive had a look online, could they be blackberry lillies? Theres quite a few more still in the empty house, is it worth getting some more?

    Its a large summer flowering Iris I think.

    Definately an Iris it has rhizomes, hopefully will give you lovely flowers but sadly they don't last very long
