This plant was sent to me as a free gift from a plant company, I have no idea what it is, can anyone help me, it was 3 year old when I got it and I have had it a year, it is about 3 foot tall and it is just getting its first flower!
I had it inside over winter last year but really have no idea if it is an outdoor plant or an indoor plant!

Any help identifying this plant would be much appreciated.

    Thanks Alan

It looks a bit like a Ricinus communis, a Castor oil plant.

looks like Clerodendrum Bungeii, I have a similar variegated one (although the leaves on yours are much larger). The flowers on mine have just openned up today, will post a comparisson pic.
